Anyone else do their Taxes yet?
We were hoping for a big refund. Only getting 1k. This is after us claimed Married, but filed single. This is our first full year with our mortgage, so I was hoping for WAY more.
Ugh-Uncle Sam. How is the US in such debt yet I give them all my money??
Re: Anyone else do their Taxes yet?
I gave all of mine to my accountant, but haven't heard anything yet.
I'm scared to death that we're going to have to pay.
The Sand in My Snow Boots
I need to provide everything to our accountant.
I am also petrified of us owing. We got a good amount last year, even w/ H collecting UE for most of 2009.
But now that we're both making more money...I am scared we'll owe.
This is true. Just had our appointment, we owe a small amount to state but are getting a decent refund. I'm excited for next year when we get to claim our little burrito!
My accountant just called! We're getting back $5700!
I realize that this is a measly amount compared to what I paid, and I also realize that the ideal goal it to break even and get the money in your paycheck.
HOWEVER. I'm terrible at putting money away, and honestly, I just wouldn't do it. I love my tax returns every year.
NICE!!!
