How is everyone today? Enjoying the warmer temperatures? I wonder if we will be paying for it next week or the week after.
Re: Wednesday Randoms
I'm doing ok today. We got bagels at work this morning, and they were awesome.
My pants are getting a little snug in the tummy area.
Got a belly band? I used one from Target--black--before and after C was born.
Even if we do get hit with more winter weather, it's only fair. I mean, it's still winter. This gorgeous sun-and-thaw happens *every* year, and we always have more slush and mush to face afterwards, but the sunshine for a few days is enough to get us through the next month or so. Spring always comes.
I should be vacuuming now.

I think pregnancy is the only time that can feel kind of exciting. :-)
I watched a bunch of the videos from the Westminster dog show this morning. The working group is by far my favorite. Bernese Mountain Dogs, St. Bernards, Newfoundlands, Mastiffs, Boxers - I want to hug them all.
I've got a friend that said I could use theirs, but she's out of town for another 2 weeks.
This winter was weird to me. It felt mild and not snowy until that blizzard hit. Then we had like 2 weeks of real winter and now it's all going away. It feels like we only kinda experienced the season.
Definitely used that baby before and after. Super helpful.
I kind of agree, and am definitely not complaining. Can't wait for spring - it's such a happy, hopeful time of year.
Same here! I HATED maternity pants, they were so weird fitting and itchy in the belly. I wore my belly band with regular pants unzipped a lot lol. I'm a classy girl.
Loving the warmer temps, however my dog has started blowing her coat and UGH I hate this time of year. I have to vaccum twice a day!
I think we should have a contest and report back tomorrow regarding how many convertibles we see with their top down after work.
Juli - my favorites are the toys. Give me a spunky pom/ chihuahua / pug any day!
I love the working group as well - I have a soft spot for big dogs.
I saw a dude on a motorcycle yesterday while pumping gas and freezing my ass off. I got in my car and the temp read 36 degrees.
Okey dokey Harley dude.
I also love the toys...Yorkies!
yup I too recommend the belly band. Only now am I thinking that the belly band may not cut it for the rest of this pregnancy. But I have definitely gotten $14 worth dollars out of it.
I had quite the interesting OB appt this morning. First, the seal on the pee cup broke. When I screwed the cap on the cup, pee started squirting out all the seams. I made quite the mess. We are talking pee on the walls, floor... everywhere.
Then I had to inform my Dr that we were moving. I was a bawling, it was horrible. (If you don't know my OB is also my personal Dr. I had some helath issues and he has been there for me through it all. I would consider him a friend)
I will admit to running a couple errands this morning sans coat. It felt so good. I promise H had on a fleece coat with the hood up, but I was foot loose and fancy (coat) free.
Also - I am in a lunch rut. Bean and cheese quesadillas, anyone?
Does anyone put potato chips on their sandwich or is it just me? I too feel the lunch rut. turkey sandwich some times I mixed it up and put mayo on instead of mustard. Exciting right.
I've been thinking of trying out Hopcat for lunch. I don't drink beer so I wonder how good the food is. Any Rec's for me?
I think the food is great. I've enjoyed their veggie burrito, hippie wrap, and turkey burger. DH likes their mac and cheese, fish tacos, and reuben.
Also, crack fries are a must.
Ugh dental work is the pits. I hate the numb drooly feeling after fillings. I am almost positive I need a few fillings myself but havent had time to go to the dentist. And I need to find one around here too.
That makes me very sad to think about. You poor thing.
I thought this said spunky PORN. And I wondered what tiny dogs had to do with spunky porn.

I actually thought about you briefly while I was in my stomach-gurgly-anxious phase, as in, "I'll bet K is glad she's not here!"
Nitrous, man. Nitrous. It's the only way I get through it.
Ditto! I had them start it up as soon as I got to the chair...which is a good thing because Dr. Matt was running a bit behind schedule and we had to wait for a while. UGH.
I am sooooooooooooo hungry....
