AW - We close today!
We are signing the papers at 4:00, and then we will officially be homeowners! What a fun but stressful experience. And as if it hasn't been stressful enough, we realized last night during our final walk through that the heat is not working in some of the rooms. Luckily, it worked during our inspection and we are covered for it.

Is it a forced air furnace? If it is, an easy thing to check yourself are the baffles down near the furnace. There should/may be little handles in the middle of the ducts leading away from the furnace. If any of them are perpendicular to the duct that means the baffle is closed and no air will go up that duct.
We've got a lot of ours closed off to help drive more heat up to our second story.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
