Re: i wonder if...

  • Well if they are skin tight and he can see your black thong through them along with you leopard print bra under your barely there white top as you walk in on your 6 inch stiletto hooker boots my husband would notice and then describe you to me over Valentin's dinner and tell me how hot you looked. But he wouldn't remember what I wore yesterday. Indifferent

  • ahhh men. they're just really dense sometimes.

i was thinking maybe i could get away with them bc they'd be an upgrade from my mismatched pj bottoms and tops combos that i sport on a daily basis. :)

  • Sure go for it!! Ever since my surgery I have been living in yoga pants and what ever shirt I first come across.

  • I have to admit I want to know how they look on.  My MIL's friend bought a pair and loves them....I kind of make fun of people with them but kind of envy them all in one haha...

Now we need to work on them doing business pants like that because I'd be in pure heaven.

  • Haha! That commercial sicks me out. I rarely wear sweats around my own house, let alone out in public. I always give people at the gas station/grocery store/mall the side eye when they're strolling around in pajama pants. Get dressed people! /rant

    I kind of agree.  :)

When I worked at the gym, I wore yoga pants (mostly) on a daily basis - especially towards the end of my pregnancy.  And even tho it was dress code friendly, if I went to the grocery afterwards or had an errand to run beforehand I felt like a slob or a mess walking around in that.  Even now when I have an errand to run I wont go anywhere in my yoga pants (my mom-uniform), I change into jeans or a dress first.

BUT... I will say that the pajama jeans are totally looking appealing lately.  If only they weren't $40... for real I told J that this morning when we saw a commercial for them.  He laughed but I was like, dude... if they were $20, I'd probably get them just to try them out.  I am curious to see how they feel and look actually ON.
  • See, I feel like yoga pants are just a step above pj pants or sweats. Maybe because they're fitted? I give a pass to Moms with little kids, its the over 13 w/o kids crowd (male or female) that really get me. And personally I feel really sloppy if I go out in sweats/yoga pants/pj pants.

Of course, this will probably all be going out the window soon as my yoga pants actually fit and  are comfortable. Do I get a preggo pass? Haha.

  • yeah, i never leave the house in pj pants...only yoga pants. and i live in them. people probably look at me and think "gosh, if i did yoga as much as her i'd look WAY better than she does!" haha.

le sigh....no pajama jeans for me. i think that crosses some line that maybe i shouldn't cross. maybe i'll just upgrade my yoga pants. all the moms in bennett's music class sport their lululemons...mmmm yeah, $100 yoga pants aren't in my budget. oh well.

  • I should clarify that by living in yoga pant I mean in the house. Like the second I come home from whatever I am doing I'm in them until I go to bed or we leave the house again.

Except for the 2 weeks following surgery I never leave my house in them unless I'm on the way to the gym. I had a fit the week after surgery when my mom dragged me to target in sweats and then we ran into 3 people we knew!!

Uuhhhmmmm yeah.  I will never own a pair of those.  lol  My yoga pants are the $20 old navy variety.  Living big, I tell ya!

Is it weird that that's one of my fears when I do start classes (swim/music/art/playgroup/whatev) with Gabby?  The judgey moms, comparing what they and their kids wear vs what I and Gabby wear.  Gah!  I feel so stupid for that.  I had planned to start classes last week, but of course the pg threw a wrench in that plan, so the new plan is to start in April or May... and I'm all nervous about it.  Blah.
