Finally PIP-ing my Valentine's Day dinner
So I was planning on doing this a couple days ago, but life & general grumpiness kind of got in my way. I butterflied & broiled three lobster tails, made twice-baked sweet potatoes (SO delicous!), some yummy asparagus with brown butter & lemon, and bacon-wrapped filet mignon. And for dessert, Red velvet cheesecake cut into hearts & served with raspberries and vanilla bean icecream. I must say, I was VERY proud of this. Here it all is:





Sorry it took me so long to get pictures up. I want another excuse to cook fancy dinner though! Our dating anniversary is coming up next month... maybe I'll go old school & cook up a feast for that too. :-P

*drools* bacon wrapped filet is what I look forward to every xmas. And twice baked sweet potato?!?!?!!? I've never done that and it sounds A-mazing.
