Weekly Weight Loss Check in

Hey Ladies! I'm having to skip this weeks WW meeting but I think I stayed the same. I REALLY need to get to the gym. Someone once told me the hardest part of working out is getting to the gym and that is so right! I've been a lot more active in general though so that's good. I've come to realize I feel better in general when I eat better. How did everyone else do?

Re: Weekly Weight Loss Check in

  • I lost 1.4 again this week. After last week's disappointment, I'm really glad. I ate more of my weekly points than usual, but I also earned more activity points for my jogging.

  • I can't believe that I actually lost 1.2 this week! I know not how, since as I said in a previous post, I virtually ate my way through NYC last week. My best guess is that all the walking balanced the food intake. And I did not snack at all; I had time only for my three meals each day.

I started going to yoga again this week. It was something that I really liked doing, but I stopped a few months ago because of the time commitment. I know that yoga doesn't do anything for cardio (unless you go to the power yoga classes, but I would die in one of those), but it does inspire me to want to put less junk food into my body.

  • I've been putting off joining in, but I figured I would do it to hopefully make me more accountable. My goal is more to get healthier than to really lose weight, however, I would like to lose around 5-10 pounds depending on the day.

I have still been doing relatively well going to the gym. But my biggest hurdle is eating. I love carbs - pretty much in any form. I'm trying to cut back some, its just so hard because my body seems to actually crave bad stuff lol.

You are completely right nessia - getting to the gym is definitely the hard part. Do you maybe know anyone that has a membership where you do that could be an accountability partner? A friend of mine and I both actually joined 24 hour together for and I have kinda been that person for her and her for me as well.

  • Good job guys!

I gained but I expected that.  I think most of you saw my post yesterday so that pretty much sums it up for me.

I have a membership at the Fitness 19 on 79.  If any of you go there, maybe we could partner up.

  • I gained .2 lbs... but on a positive note I started week 3 of c25k and it was a breeze! Ive been pushing my cardio by adding 20-30 min of elyptical afterwards. Which I think is helping the stamina.

I think I need to put my self into a bubble with pre-portioned food for the day. Grrrr!

  • I just started WW and my first week ends this Saturday.  I'll post back with the good (or bad) news :)

    Good luck ladies!

  • I would like to join in for the next week. This past few weeks had been crazy busy, working lots of hours at a carzy shift, too.

My goal is to lose 2lbs next week.
