Any spring or summer vacation plans?

Like I said I have major spring fever so I was wondering if any of you had any spring break and/or summer vacation plans? If so, what are they?

For spring break, my husband and I will either go to Orlando, Chicago or Washington DC (always have wanted to go!).

For summer since I have all summer off we are talking about traveling all summer so my husband can do contract work all over the country (he would work half the time and the other half of the time we would spend together at each location) to the following locations: Texas, Florida, California, Georgia, South Carolina, Massachusetts and Alaska.

We have wedding travel plans but nothing beyond that. We are going to Atlanta and Oregon in May and South Carolina in April.

We are trying to save money for a new car and to hopefully be in a place to start TTC in June or so.

Turning 25? My birthday's always over spring break. Our next vacation is the second weekend in April, and we're going to St. Louis to watch the Blues play. It was a graduation/birthday present for Zach since they'll be playing a home game on his birthday, and it's his favorite team. Other than that, no plans.

We are keeping it low key this year.....in August we are going to PA for a few days....2 nights in Gettysburg and an overnight in Hershey....doing the battlefields and then Hershey Park...then on the drive home, we plan to go through Amish country and stop at the market that we always do.

We're going to a wedding in New Brunswick in August, so we will likely take the southern route and head through Vermont and Maine.

My brother and sister-in-law are due in June, so we'll also take a trip to Vancouver to meet the new baby!

We need to plan but haven't yet. We are going camping in the Texas Hill country over Easter weekend. We like to travel and take long weekend trips frequently but it's been too cold lately.

This thread makes me happy!

We're taking 2 trips to florida in a few weeks. The first is a long weekend in Disney so that I can run the Disney Princess Half Marathon. The second is the weekend after and we're going to my grandmas time share in West Palm Beach for a week! I'm so excited, the place is awesome. It's 5 steps to the pool and 10 steps to the beach it's amazing.

Other than that, we just have a few weekend trips planned over the summer to visit friends, nothing major, which is ok with me since I'm starting a new job and don't know when I'll have time off accrued. and we're (finally) moving into an apartment together so that will keep us busy I'm just ready to be settled.

Our next major trip will probably be for our anniversary, we're not sure where to yet tho - either south like Costa Rica or West to AZ, etc. we will see.

My school doesn't have a spring break and Ken has to get ready for opening day so the most we have been discussing this spring is a weekend trip to Chicago (about a 4 hour drive).

This summer we are going with Ken's entire family to Hawaii. Some of you may remember my concerns about this. MIL has assured Ken that all we have to pay for is our flight. I don't really believe this and don't want to financially burden her, but there's no way out of this trip.

The week of July 4th we're heading to Holden Beach in North Carolina with the in-laws (parents, siblings, babies!)

I've gone on a few trips with his fam and they really know how to vacation!

I don't get a spring break at my school...Over the summer, we're taking our full length honeymoon in July-8 day 7 night cruise to Alaska over my birthday. Long weekend camping trip to the beach and a few other camping trips. Gettysburg(which is essentially a day trip for us) Maybe Baltimore, DC, another trip to Colonial Williamsburg...we'll see how the budget, TTC and his vacation time work out

I am totally jealous of all of your spring/summer vacations. We own a seasonal business so summer vacations are out for us....the positive thing is that we get to travel during off seasons....but no vacation for us until November!! Enjoy your vacations!!!

We plan to take our annual trip to Wisconsin to visit Matt's family this summer. Then in August I'm going to Vegas for work and we might go early/stay late for a little mini vaca. We'll see.I think that'll be it for us this year. We love to travel, but have other ways we need to spend our money this year.

I'm jealous of any of you that get a SB!

Our summer is starting to fill up w/local events...but we're going to Colorado on a Wed-Sun trip with DH's family in July.

Otherwise our next major trip is in Oct for a wedding I'm in in FL...but until then we have 2 hometown weddings we're in, which unfortunately will require time off, but it's just a 3 hr drive.
