Could I be less motivated to do my homework tonight?

I doubt it. I just wasted a half an hour watching a rerun of a Cosby Show episode and was considering re-watching it. That can't be a good sign...

Anyone else not motivated work-wise?

Re: Could I be less motivated to do my homework tonight?

  • I'm the opposite -- after an afternoon of feeling "odd" (kind of crampy hard belly), I realized that I am not ready to have this baby.  So once MH got home, I worked on cleaning the guest room, put a bunch of stuff up in the attic, pulled out the bassinet bedding (bassinet was set up last weekend), started some laundry, folded some other laundry, stuffed a bunch of diapers, and did the dishes.  Tomorrow's "to do" list is written, too.

Don't get excited, though, ladies...I'm sure my feeling "odd" has way more to do with the five slices of pizza I ate for lunch than any baby news.  The full moon just got me momentarily freaked out. :)

    Get back to work, Daniele!

  • If I were prepping my house for a baby, I would be infinitely more motivated. Doing paperwork for the Paperwork Nazi who is my instructor (and who is reality-challenged) is a whole other ball of wax!

I did most of it. I just don't feel like doing an SBAR that is not really an SBAR, only to have her tell me to redo it because I didn't get it exactly right (whatever that is, since she has yet to give any feedback other than "good start. let's review together!" and then not have time to review it with me).

Bah. I'm sending her an email telling her I'm not going to hand in the SBAR until she and I meet sometime tomorrow after class or on Friday (my day off).

  • I'm with you!! I had a unit due for my HTML class on Tuesday. So I e-mailed the prof and said I was going to do this awesome webquest and combine this past unit with my next one. All so I could put it off another week. But damn, now I'm going to have double the work to do this week :(
