remember when the song, "jump jive and wail" was out by brian setzer? and there was another GI/40's type song as well out? the second one is the song that i put down for the poll below. i'm mad i can't remember what it is! darnit!
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    never mind! never mind! does anyone remember zoot suit riot? by cherry poppin daddies? i had such a romantical notion of military men back then and meeting h who was in the navy and dancing to this song - just perfect!

    Hahaha, sorry, I didn't see your post before I responded. I was super into the "Swing" music when it became popular again!

    Sidestory- My Grandpa taught my Mom and her sisters how to swing and do all kinds of old school dances when they were young, apparently he was quite the dancer. I think that's so sweet!

    Omg.  I remember when these songs came out.  I was in love with them all.  it started my love for swing and old school jazz as well.  This was my doorway drug into NOLA style jazz, as weird as it is.  I started with the pop stuff, then started discovering more 40's music, then moved further back into 30's and then into real jazz.  And yeah... love.  I haven't listened to any of it in a long time, but you're making me want to spend a bundle d/ling songs via Amazon, now.  ha.  I was like, what, 15/16/or so...?  Yikes.

    'gateway drug' LOL. i am kinda sad now. thinking about dancing in the club and picking up guys and being care free... i wish i was still young. not that i want to pick up guys but the rest of it was fun

    All I remember about that song is that it made swing dancing more popular and then my drunk friends would try to do it and would all fall over. I remember seeing so many girls get swung up....and then they both fall down.

    I read this post last night but didnt get a chance to comment. This morning I woke up humming that song!! Thanks I'm stuck in the NICU with out any other musical distractions. That song will be in my head all day long now!
