Hey ladies! I know I've been MIA lately, it's been a bit crazy here. Long story short, after waiting for 2 1/2 months, I have 2 amazing options for jobs.
Option 1: Full time position at an ad agency. Would look great on the CV but I'm not getting the best vibe in terms of agency culture.
Option 2: Working 3ish days a week at an agency I LOVE. They've had me in to do freelance writing and I think it's the place for me, but they can't afford to hire me full time yet. The great thing is I've also been offered a position to supplement this income working 2 mornings a week at the UN court (where E works teaching English to the Cambodian judges.
I'm almost positive I'm going with option 2, and I'm super crazy excited about it. The catch is, I don't have experience teaching ESL - my brother is a teacher and helped me out drawing up a curriculum proposal, but if any of you teachers know of great resources for lesson planning/activities, it would be so helpful!
Re: ESL Teachers?
Are you going to be working with kids or adults?
One of my closest friends at school is the ESL teacher. I am on vacation this week, but I will ask her about resources when I get back next week.
