Ugh I have to find a new hair dresser
Clearly, this is trival, but I feel just sick about it. I really LIKE my current hair dresser as a person but have been unhappy with my hair for about...oh, a year.
And now she expects me to come in the middle of the work day to get my hair done which doesn't exactly work. She won't work Saturdays and won't come in early (ie 7am) either. Which is fine - it is her business, she can do what she wants. But it is annoying. I can't be the only one that can not leave work for two hours in the middle of the day to get my hair done, right?!?

Could she do a haircut around 5 or so? Maybe you could just skip out of work early. I know I do that if I am in desperate need of a touch up.
If you are just looking for someone new all together I've always been happy with Salon Zen. I usually see Devon there and she is really great at listening to what you want and what works for you.
I love mine, Heather at Salon West (off 119th and Western). She will work late or on days off if you need her too. She is great with me just telling her do what you want and it always looks amazing with cuts I wouldn't think of.
Devon at Salon Zen I honestly didn't like. I mean she is a great girl who knows her stuff and what looks good on people. But I find her to be very messy because she is so quick. I do have super thick hair that takes forever to foil, etc. But everytime I went to her (this was for a year) she ALWAYS found a way to get dye all over my head/ears/neck. Sometimes it wasn't too bad, but once it was absolutely ridiculous and so never went back.
I haven't cut my hair since August for this reason. I have a name of someone, but I haven't made the jump.
The last lady did a good job on my hair, but on my last appointment she didn't show up and then texted me 5 hours later apologizing for "running late" and to call if I wanted to reschedule. Um, why did it take 5 hours to tell me you were late and why didn't you call me - text is so weak.
