Sunday sales in trouble again....

The chances of a Sunday sales bill passing this year took a major hit on Thursday when Senate Republican leaders said the measure lacks the support necessary among the majority caucus.
"Usually you have a committee process by which bills are passed through, and after they pass through [they] go to a rules committee," he said.
That happened with Senate Bill 10. The Senate Rules Committee had responsibility for moving it to the floor for a vote. But that never happened.
Instead, Republicans held a caucus vote to see where senators stood on the issue, and the bill failed to gain support, so Senate leadership decided to not bring it forward for a vote.
