Is this too passive-aggressive?

Would it be awful to anonymously buy a pair of nail clippers for someone and leave them on their desk early in the morning, as a hint that I'd really like for them to stop grossing me out by chewing on their nails right in my line of vision ALL DAY LONG!?

ETA:  I wasn't really being serious... just kind of venting.  I guess I should have made that more clear.  lmao

  • HA!  Is it bad that I was gnawing on my nails when I was reading this post? :-/

  • I'd personally do a nail file, but that's just me.  :)

  • LMAO @ Bre!

It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't accompanied by the chewing and slurping sounds that go along with her nail biting.  It just makes me gag.

  • I say yes b/c the sound of people clipping nails in the office makes me cringe.  It's a hygeniune maintenance thing...I would never sit at my desk and shave my less, floss or brush my teeth.

    That's just me

  • If it were me, I probably wouldn't leave anything.  I think if I were the person that got the nail clippers left on my desk, I would feel really self-conscious from then on and that would make work really uncomfortable for me.

At my old job, there was a girl who smelt disgusting all of the time, so people left air fresheners all over her desk; it was so mean.

  • Ha, I would totally leave her a little manicure set or something.

(Or at least I would threaten to repeatedly. Much like I've threatened repeatedly to leave our receptionist who coughs non-stop a bag of Ricola and a bottle of water.)
