Fingers crossed for me?

E and I both hate our coffee table. Don't get me wrong, it's a good quality table, a heavy huge glass octagon sitting atop a baroque brass-painted resin base. Mom gave it to me when I was single. It's huge. And not our taste. And we can't use the Wii Fit because we can't move it. So we wanted a coffee table on wheels. Me being me, and being completely infatuated with Restoration Hardware, I found this. Eric and I are both in love. Of course it's pricey. So I didn't know it, but E's been keeping an eye on eBay, and today he found an unfinished one in great shape in PA. We're bidding up to $450 so cross your fingers we get it. I'm drooling. And the guy is ok wig local pickup, so E would drive there Monday (he's off from work) and not pay $125 in shipping.

LOL, Melissa, you're nuts. Thanks, guys! Auction ends in about 6 hours and it's at $300. And I like the idea that it's unfinished, so E and I would be fixing it up ourselves.

Thanks! And E & I both have off from work on Monday, I found out. So we'll go get it and then head out to Lowe's to see what we need to fix it up properly. E found a great blog post on how to restore these things and make them fit for actual living room use.
