This may seem really bizarre but I have a question for you. I live in Indy and my neighbor was telling me how another house in neighborhood that's been for sale forever had the term "psychologically affected" listed in the information. I had to look it up myself and sure enough it does. I tried searching on google for more information about it and your post on the nest came up about it (Manning Rd.). Do you know anything more? I'm a super nosey neighbor and we just moved here a year and half ago and I want to know what happened!
Re: Munkii
How bizarre! I never found out what happened but do know it's not on the DEA's list of meth houses (not that that means anything since they rely on local authorities to update the list). The pictures were CREEPY--ok, I just looked at them again, and they're not as creepy.
Do you like the neighborhood (besides the scary house)? DH and I are going to start looking at houses again in a couple of months and we're looking in that zip code (particularly on the east side of Kessler).
haha, how did you originally find the house? Just during your home searches?
Yes! We really like the neighborhood a lot! My husband is in med school so it's a great location and is easy for him to get downtown. We've met another young family with a young child and last summer during the 4th of July parade they had here, there were a ton more families or couples we met, so that was nice. The folks immediately around us are older though or have older children.
Are you looking for a house to re-do or a move-in ready house?
Yes, it was found during general searches.
It would be nice to find a house that is done since we're both super busy, but the idea of a re-do is intriguing to me since we'd get to do what we want (especially since I'm currently enrolled in one of the local interior design programs). The location is ideal for both of us, as well, since we both work dt.
