Oy vey. So yesterday DH emails me and hints that he wants to do something for our one year anniversary. Yes, 38 days beforehand now he decides. I just looked at my schedule and it appears that the week after is clear so I put in a request for PTO. Providing I get it, anyone have any good suggestions?
DH is thinking a short cruise or all inclusive. I think after this winter and all the snow, we need some beach and sunshine time. We'd probably drive down to Philadelphia to drop off the puppy at my parent's house, so we'll base leaving from there instead of New England. I'm not used to planning a trip on such short notice so does anyone have any "go to" tips?
Re: He's going to shave years off my life
We're going to Phoenix for the weekend, we've decided to go to a different US city every year for our anniversary.
Just a warning our anniversary falls over Spring Break, I know the 24th-27th is super expensive here in Vegas for hotel rooms and rooms in Phoenix were pricier than I had expected.
Carnival has 3 or 4 day cruises, some are as low as $250 per person. I use cheapair.com to find inexpensive airfare, I've always booked cruises through the cruiseline directly but I have heard positive things about cheapcruises.com. If you decide to go away somewhere and need a hotel instead of a cruise/all-inclusive I swear by Hotwire.com they don't tell you the name of the hotel until after you book but I have always had a great experience with them.
Hope that helps, message me if you need any help. I've tons of Vegas connections if you want to come here!

TTC on hold until December
Check out travelzoo, they usually have some last minute trips, and generally have amazing deals on them. This week they have a 7 night caribbean cruise with a balcony room with a $200 credit, for $499 per person.

Jekyll Island, GA is a go to trip for a lot of folks
I always think of St. Augustine of the Keys too if I'm looking for something domestic.
I would check out bookit.com, they usually offer some great deals too.
