I've watched some youtube tutorials and read some reviews, but what are your favorite concealers for under-eye circles? I bought two yesterday at Ulta and wasn't impressed. One was way too sheer and orange and the other was too cakey.
Any brands you like in particular that hold up well in FL humidity/heat?
Re: Makeup Goddesses
I am going to piggy back on your post Nicole
Jennifer and Ragazza - which MAC foundation do you like? I have been on a 1 year search for the perfect foundation and I have yet to find one. For whatever reason I haven't tried MAC yet but I think I will the next time I need to buy some makeup. Do you like the mineral foundation or do you just stick to the liquid? Thanks!

I use Trish McEvoy.
Did you get them to color match you? That could be the problema.

I use Lanc?me concealor I love it and it stays put!
Kathy I use studiofix it?s a powder foundation its amazing!!!! Oh and when its hotter I use a moisturizer with a light foundation coverage from lancome.
I use the Studio Tech Foundation - it's like a cream. I have never had good luck with any liquid foundation - my face always seems to get oily looking. And powder has never worked well for me in a humid environment.
Honestly, you just have to keep trying until you find what works for you. And that pertains to everything - foundation, concealer, powder, whatever. What looks fab on your BFF might make you oily/ashy/any list of things. I use Bare Minerals right now and their concealer works fine for me.
As far as MAC is concerned, I used to use Studio Fix and that is where most people start. Its a little lighter than Tech, but the same compact style.

I need to try this. I've still been using my old CG concealer. I just started using Bare Minerals last month and I love it. Just enough coverage but feels very light. I have always hated the made-up heavy feeling of most foundations.
Since I am sick of wandering around Ulta and always loved my BE mineral veil, I ordered the try.believe.love set. Reality is that I don't need full sets of the foundation/concealer/blush/etc. I'm not going to wear it everyday, so it will take me 2 years to get through those tiny pots. And at $20, the trial sizes are a great price for my purposes.
If I don't like it, I'll keep trying. Something is bound to work out.
Thanks for the rec! I love my Bare Minerals but just have the basic kit. I will definitely try this. Thanks!!
I'm the same way. I used to use all cream-based concealer and foundations, and DH would always say that it looked so heavy and noticeable. I tried Bare Minerals (my SIL recommended it) and he couldn't even tell I had anything on. It just feels so much better too! Do you use any kind of primer? I noticed that helps extend the wear of my foundation.
You're welcome! I was using the foundation as concealer for awhile, but I got annoyed that I was using it up so much faster becaues I was pulling double duty with it The multi-tasking bisques work really well and last for awhile!
I love me some samples! They're definitely the way to go when you're trying something new
