Growth u/s Results!
Soooo, I had my growth ultrasound today and the baby is measuring big just
like Jake. They said she's 8 lbs 14 oz right now, and they typically
gain about 1/2 lb a week and I'm 38 weeks. So if I deliver by 40
weeks she'd be estimated 10 lbs-ish, which is just what Jake was
estimated at when I had him at 41 weeks (and he was actually 9 lbs 4 oz). I told them I just don't want to go beyond 40 weeks this
time and make an even bigger baby, so next week we'll decide on an
induction date should baby girl not make an appearance on her own. They said as long as I'm favorable for induction, they'd be happy to go along w/ it.
They also reassured me that they think I can birth a baby bigger than Jake, because he was obviously large AND had his hand up in front of his face. They said that proves that I can handle a diameter even larger than Jake, should that happen. Hoping for a healthy delivery and that I go naturally prior to 40 weeks. Bring on the spicy food and loving!!!

My little 6 lb. 2 oz. baby came out this way and tore my lady bits all to shreds. It was horrible. I can't imagine with a baby 3 lbs. larger.

Kristen - I'm doing pretty good emotionally, and physically I'm in survival mode haha. Today is my last day of work, so that'll help!
