I was robbed so please rec your straightener
I used to have a chi ceramic straightener. It was black with pink ceramic plates, and I'd had it for at least 5 years. LOVED it.
I was robbed a week ago, and the dude took my most loved hair styling tool. Now I need new one. I don't know what I want, necessarily, but I'll tell you what I liked about my old one:
the dial on it that had a temp control
the swivel cord
the ceramic plates
the thin rounded wand style that let me curl my hair also
finally... I admit it. I bought it cause it was colourful. Cute and colourful isn't necessary, it was just the icing on the cake. I bought the thing having never used a straightener in my life, and it ended up being a great straightener.
Tell me what to buy! I don't care too much about cost, but maybe try to keep it below $150.
I bought my last one on ebay for $35. I'm pretty sure it was hot (no pun intended). That's karma I guess.

I was going to get another CHI like suggested, but decided to go on www.folica.com and take a look at their "top 10 flat irons". The CHI was on there as number 10 (not mine specifically though), but the number two spot was held by something called a solia. I'm giving it a try.
So sorry about the robbery, how awful and scary! Glad you're okay!
