Who else get's a long weekend? I know it's President's Day on Monday in the US, and Family Day here in Canada.
Tonight we've got a workout planned, and tacos for dinner. Tomorrow we're going to the National Home Show in Toronto and probably hanging out with Tim and Shannon and the kiddos after. Ryley had a bone marrow aspirate done earlier this week to see how this newest chemo is going, and the results came back very good. He's got a normal about of blasts in his bone marrow, and they look like normal cells, not leukemia cells. They've started him on his next round of chemo (injected right into his spinal column) while they continue to look for a bone marrow donor.
Sunday will be a lazy day I think. Grocery shopping and maybe a games night.
Monday is my birthday! I plan on sleeping in, drinking too much coffee and baking fancy cupcakes all day. I'm going to pick up a copy of Martha Stewart Cupcakes today and just have fun.
What does everyone else have on the go this weekend?

TGIF! Tonight will be a relaxing evening at home. DH is having a coupleof friends over to play some cards. The rest of the weekend is up in the air, but I am hoping that we can get together with a couple of friends tonight to celebrate DH's achievement.

This is a super long weekend thanks to the teacher "sick out".
This weekend I have tons of work for university to get done because if we get a kiddo before my classes are over. We will probably go to Dave and Buster's with some friends this weekend too.

No plans for the weekend, I'm currently sitting home alone since E's working late. We're going to have a really chill weekend, probably just relax and maybe go to the pool. Talking about maybe going to kickboxing on Sunday afternoon too, that's really fun.
Aside from that I'll be working on lesson plans for my first couple of ESL classes! I don't make the final decision until I hear the part-time offer details from my preferred ad agency on Monday, but if it is what I think it's going to be I'm definitely going that road, which means the lessons start this week. I'm super nervous and also wicked excited.

Today I am planning on going for a short run in a few minutes while my parents golf, then maybe running to the grocery store. This afternoon we might go shopping and out to dinner. It has been a really awesome vacation--I don't think I have spent a week hanging out with my parents since high school and we have had a lot of fun.
I leave tomorrow evening (boo) and probably won't get home until 2am on Sunday morning since my flight gets in at 12:30 and it is about an hour and a half from my house, so Sunday will just be sleeping and preparing to go back to school on Monday (no Presidents' Day for us).

No long weekend here - we don't get any public holidays between New Years and Easter, which sucks since Easter is so late this year. When did Family Day start? I don't remember that one when I was working in TO!
Tonight we've schedule an at home massage, and we're looking forward to a quiet relaxing night in. Tomorrow we're looking at another apartment and then heading out for Mexican in the evening. Sunday I have a London nestie GTG and pilates. In amongst that I have to pick up on the studying for my driving theory test since it's booked in 1.5 weeks.

This weekend is Jordan's bday weekend. He will be 6 on Monday. His birthday party is Saturday. Tonight I will be icing cupcakes. Saturday night I am hoping to be able to relax and enjoy a movie after the party I think I will need it. Sunday I have to do some cleaning. DH is working nights all weekend so it will be just me and the boys most of the time.
I found out this week that I'm working Saturday, so no long weekend for me.
I am taking Monday off, though, so I'll at least have a normal 2 day weekend, rather than just the one day. I hate working weekends, especially open houses at the college. It's always a disaster, because we keep switching setups and locations.
Tonight will probably be a movie night with the hubs and then crashing as early as possible. Tomorrow I'm working (and eating some much longed for donuts) and then lounging again tomorrow night. Sunday will probably be a sleepy day, mixed in with some cleaning and maybe furniture moving. Monday I have the house all to myself and intend on enjoying the crap out of it.
I'm craving cupcakes now, so I think I'm going to have to work that into my agenda for the weekend.

Today it might hit 70 here and break records, my boss is out and his asst is leaving at lunch. Soooo I'll probably leave early too and run some errands. Good morning! I am so looking forward to this long weekend, but it's also the last long weekend until Memorial Day. Fourteen weeks. We're heading to Cancun in the middle, though. No way can we go 14 weeks without a break.
The morning commute was interesting--huge police presence at my Metro station today, K-9 unit included. There were no inspections going on, and someone said it was training, but it's weird to walk onto the platform to see so many officers there.
Tonight we're working out and then calling it an early evening. Poor H has to attend a conference this weekend--he's a bit bitter about his long weekend being cut short. He'll be gone all day tomorrow, so I'll entertain myself with a long run, maybe a trip to Loft to get a dress, then some reading and writing before ordering a pizza for dinner.

Tonight I'm going to see my little cousin's softball game. She's in middle school and is apparently very good. It should be fun. After that, I'm headed to a HS boys b-ball game to watch a friend's son (who is also supposed to be very good). So tonight will be all about little people's athletics for me.

No long weekend for me. Tuesday is my first day off in 9 days. Blah. Need to leave for work now.
Just found out that one of my pharmacist friends was robbed at gunpoint by 3 guys who stole Oxycontin. They were caught and no one was hurt but that is terrifying.

I need a long weekend like nobody's business. I just can't get caught up on my sleep.
We have the normal errands planned for Saturday. Sunday we are going out to dinner with the whole family, MIL's treat. She does that a couple of times a year and it's always nice.
Monday, I will nap, take the cat to the vet, bake bread and work on one of my craft projects. I'm learning to knit, so that has jumped up to the front, but I have fabric to recover my dining room chairs and an unfinished quilt top to work on, too.

Apparently DH wasn't to have Monday off. I pulled rank and told him he needed to take it off. We've been eyein gthis as a 3-day weekend for weeks and had plans.
Those plans include going and picking up this map set from a secondhand/reuse store. We're going to hang it above our desk in our office at home.
We're also going to go to the Zoo so I can practice using my new camera lens taking pictures of animals and hopefully going to see Gnomeo and Juliet. For some reason my husband is THRILLED to see that movie.

I'm so happy it's Friday, I don't even mind that much that I have to work Monday. This weekend we're planning on ordering dinner in and catching up on the DVR. Now that Manuels in school we don't get to watch much during the week.
Tomorrow we have an appointment to file our taxes and the rest of the afternoon free. I hope we can just stay home and hang out together. No plans for Sunday either but I want to start cleaning things out to donate or throw away plus the usual cleaning so I hope we don't have to do anything then either.
