Re: Meganmarie???
Still here! (at home) Contractions are getting stronger, but they're still somewhat irregular -- every ten minutes for a while, then none for 20 minutes or so, then back to 10-12 minutes, etc. I got about 6 or 7 hours sleep last night, though (you know, a typical toddler mommy night), so I feel rested. The only difference was when my sleep was interrupted it was to pee instead of to deal with Owen (who is at my sister's until my parents get up here).
MH is still sleeping; we have to be back at the hospital by 11am at the latest...so I'm watching the Today Show and drinking lots of water and hoping for some progress so that I can avoid the pitocin. I'm also doing little things around the house (empty the dishwasher, clean the kitchen counters, etc.) in hopes of helping push things along. My sister keeps telling me to clean the bathroom, since that worked for her, but I just don't feel like it. This may be the last time for a long while that I get to sit on my ass my myself and watch TV, so I'm taking advantage a little bit.
I'll keep you all posted!
So excited!!! Good luck this morning!
PS - I am so glad work has calmed down so I can check for updates. Priorities, you know. ;-)
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware; joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware. -Henry Miller
