Um according to FB she has traded in her nearly paid off fully loaded less the 6 yr old 4Runner for a used Corvette!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG I'm going to have her committed. What the hell is she going to haul her 2 dogs around in or how is she going to get to work in the ice and snow?! She works 45 mins from her house as an ER nurse so its not like she gets snow days.
Me and H have called her a bunch of times but shes not answering I think she is still at the dealership. She's been saying she wanted a Corvette but she was going to wait til she paid off the 4Runner and then get it as a second car.
Sorry I'm rambling but I'm flipping out here..... she is the most impulsive person I have ever met.
Why do I feel like the adult here and she is the kid?!
Re: My mother has lost her ever loving mind...
I sitll haven't talked to her but H has through text messages a couple of time. Apparently its a 2010 with 34 miles on it. She is now looking for a "cheap" mini van to use as her every day car?!?!?!? How do you go from buying a sports car one second to looking for a beater mini van as your ever day car?!
All I can do is shake my head.

Thats my point. Oh well...
Yeah my Grandpop did the same exact thing about 8 years ago.
I dont have her an issue with her wanting a sports car, more power to her. Her dogs literally live in the car with her. They go every where, and they aren't little dogs. She needs a vehicle that is dependable in snowy icy conditions. Her original plan of paying off the 4 runner and then buying the corvette was the ideal situation. Now she is going to go out and buy a beat up mini van for her day to day vehicle. That is the part that has me scratching my head.
Not to mention that this is the same woman who flipped out on my brother 3 months ago b/c the day he was leaving for GA he traded in his jetta for a mustang. She read him the riot act for buying a car that is undependable in bad weather. I mean she went on for weeks after he left how he is going to regret that and that she couldn't wait to say "I told you so" when he came home and we had bad weather. Its just all a little pot calling the kettle black to me.
