Re: TGIF Randoms
Oh goodness. I love things infused with the lavender flavor.
Somewhere I have a recipe for a lavender-vanilla bundt cake... I made it for my cousin's bridal shower.

that sounds awesome! I adore lavender.
Mmmmm.
At my bridal shower, there was lavender blueberry lemonade. Delicious.
XN made pasta with a homemade cream sauce for dinner last night and surprised me with a scone for breakfast today. I don't think he understands the concept of "I'm trying to lose weight."
I love the look of lavender, but I can't take the smell.
Taxes are done. Only ended up owing the city of GR. $130. Just made out with a refund from state.
LOL they rarely do.
One year DH got me three bags of chocolate (like Hershey's Kisses, etc.) for Christmas.
Maybe subliminally they're telling us they think we're already perfect.

My dreams of owning a lavender farm were dashed when my husband informed me that the smell and touch of the plant makes him itchy. Sigh...
I know you were really worried about taxes, $130 isn't bad. Yay.

Katers, you're probably right. Husbands don't tend to see 30 additional pounds like you or I do.
In unrelated news, I had no idea we were supposed to have a hurricane today! Holy cow. I think our grill cover is somewhere in Canada by now, because it's definitely not on our porch. Also, the wind blew our Christmas wreath down. The neighbors are probably happy about that one.
LOL! Too bad for DH, it didn't blow the dog poo out of our yard.
He was a busy man today.
