High school: DMB and Rage against the machine. I was a strange arty kid.

College: Jack Johnson

First job out of school: Not a song but Howard Stern and Cosmo Radio on Sirius. I had a 2 our commute each way. I would have injured if I had to listen to commercials

First love: Blind Melon- No Rain I can't stand to hear it.

First heartbreak: Fiona Apple -when the Pawn

First major move: Lock Stock and two smoking Barrels soundtrack.

Meeting DH: Alkaline Trio and a Perfect Circle

Marrying DH: All I want is you. the song that opened Juno. We walked back up the aisle to it. It surprised everyone and made them laugh. Our ceremony was very emotional. Dh surprised everyone including me by getting all choked up. This song lightened the mood and prepared us for the party!

Now: Lily Allen her music may not always have the happiest lyrics but the beat always makes me happy and I sing along anyway.

High school: Incubus - Drive (for some reason this is just sticking in my head) or Green Day - Time of Your Life, but really, that was grade 8.

College: Wind It Up - Gwen Stefani, we listened to that song a LOT in 4th year.

First job out of school:

First love: U2 - With or Without You, or Tea Party - Heaven's Coming Down

First heartbreak: Biitch - Meredith Brooks (I did the heartbreaking)

Meeting DH: The Hills Are Alive from The Sound of Music

Marrying DH: I Gotta Feelin' - BEP & You and I - Michael Buble

Now: Time of Your Life - Green Day, not because I listen to it anymore, but because right now is seriously the best part of my life so far!

High school: hmmm, there is a lot that could fit here, probably Living on a Prayer bc that was our team song for field hockey... although late 90s rap (ie. Nelly "Country Grammer", JayZ "big pimpin"', destiny's child, etc") always remind me of HS too....

College: again, too many... but a lot "dance" songs remind me of parties from different years. "Sandstorm" and "Heaven" (the remix, not bryan adams) freshman year, a lot of J.E.W., Weezer, FOB, and TBS in the middle, and then "Everytime we Touch" fistpumping at the end....

First job out of school: Holler Back - Gwen Stefani and Girls Not Grey - AFI

First love: first boyfriend (talking 5th-8th grade) Lisa Loeb "Stay, "real" first bf (in hs) Bon Jovi "Always" and Britney Spears "Sometimes" (hysterical)

First heartbreak: the 5th grade thru 8th grade boyfriend, No Doubt "Don't Speak"

First major move: anything Killers or Gorillaz (its what we paint to)

Meeting DH: see songs for First Job out of school.... and "Yellow" Coldplay

Marrying DH: "Strawberry Swing" Coldplay (what I walked down the aisle to).. first dance "Yellow"

Now: this moment I've been listening to Young Blood by The Naked and Famous non-stop the past few days, but it's by no means an anthem.... not really sure what will define "now"...

High school: I can't choose one song. My HS years were spent listening to a lot of Green Day since they released three records right before and during that time.

College: Papercut by Linkin Park.

First job out of school: Anything by Frank Sinatra. My first retail job out of HS that's all we played in the store during the holidays.

First love: Baby I'm Yours, it was our song.

First heartbreak: This is embarrasing to admit, Don't Turn Around by Ace of Base.

First major move: Ego by The Sounds. My roommate used to listen to it on repeat every single day the last year we lived together.

Meeting DH: There is by Box Car Racer.

Marrying DH: Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis. It was our first dance so I'm sure that's what I will always think of.

Now: Unthought Known by Pearl Jam.

High school: Still- Gerrit Hofsink ( I lost my baby girl at the begining of High school and was depressed and not very social afterwards)[if you have last a child don't listen to this it still makes me cry]

First job out of school: Sweet Dreams-Eurythmics (I do not discuss my first Job but lets just say there was a pole and dancing)

First love: Never Again-Nickelback (it was not a good relationship he is also the cause of my depresion in high school)

First heartbreak: i hate everything about you ? three days grace (my first love)

First major move: Idependent Woman- destinys child (I moved out on my ex BF when I was 19 yrs old and left this CD in his player with this song on pause)

Meeting DH:So Contagiously- Acceptance

Marrying DH: lost in this moment with you- big and rich (we danced to this song)
