What's everyone doing for the weekend??
Last night I went to bed at 7:30! I subbed in a class with a bunch of hoodlums and they wore me out! So disrespectful!
Anyway, I'm up an ready to go for the weekend!
Friday-Subbing at noon....I subbed for this teacher Monday and saw that her afternoon plans today include watching Remember the Titans so it should be easy! Then date night with DH!
Saturday- I have my NYS Literacy Exam in the afternoon to be a certified Literacy Specialist (wish me luck!) Then it's girls night when our DH's have a poker night. That means a yummy dinner! We may possible be wearing our wedding dresses and having a movie and popcorn night after hahaha. ![]()
Sunday-Homework and relaxing. It's my grandma's birthday so we will be going over to her house for dinner yum!
TGIF!
Re: It's Friday!!
Tonight- relaxing
Sat- Going shopping for party supplies and a birthday gift for lil mans birthday. Also we might be having a date night if I can my mom to watch lil man.
Sun- Celebrating my parents anniversary and watching the Daytona 500.
Friday: working, picking up nephew after work (he is spending the night w/ us), hanging out w/ him.
Saturday: taking nephew home in early afternoon, prob coming home to relax (that's enough to wear anyone out! hehe), then going out w/ some friends - have no idea what we're going to do, though.
Sunday: gonna try to sleep in a little if H will let me, might pick up some paint so we can get started on that (we are putting our house up for sale in about 2 weeks pending everything goes smoothly!), relaxing.
Friday: Working, but I *should* be getting out early if the boss can get his act together about a big brief due on Tuesday--I hope, I hope. I'm super excited that it's going to be a "balmy" 50 degrees today. Yucky melty puddles mean relaxing at home tonight, though.
Saturday: Date night with DH since last weekend's was kind of a bust.
Sunday: I need to do something thoughtful and relaxing for my parents this weekend. They are switching firms today and it's been a huge, stressful mess for them so far. I'm thinking I might go over there and cook them a nice dinner or something like that.
Monday: Holiday-yay! Craft day. I might either work some more on my friend's baby blanket or finally attempt to slipcover the couch.

TGIF for sure!
Friday: work and then a regular night with my boys (which basically consists of eating/feeding Liam, showering w/Liam, nursing him to sleep and then snuggling up with him in bed).
Saturday: family cuddle in the morning (this is the highlight of all non-work days!), then off to Liam's little buddy's 1st b-day party (ok...maybe he is the son of my friend...but they will be buddies when they are old enough!), probably dinner somewhere in there and hopefully some cleaning since my parents are coming in on Tuesday.
Sunday: Cleaning for sure! I need to get together with another of my friends and her little guy so hopefully she and I can figure out a time to meet up.
Monday: Holiday! It is just me and the little man. We'll be having a quite day since it is supposed to rain. I'm hoping it will hold off enough that we can get out for a walk at least. And of course, we'll be cleaning...my place is a disaster.

Tonight - DH is heading to dogsit at his parents house and taking our puppy with. I'm cooking up a storm in preparation for my sister's baby shower tomorrow.
Tomorrow - baby shower day. I have never really hosted something by myself (My other sister is "helping" throw the shower but she is getting of a 30 hour on-call shift at the hospital late tonight so I'm not counting on her assistance) so I'm basically going it solo. My mom graciously offered to show up early and help set up. My mom rocks.
Sunday - recouperating and not lifting a finger all. day. long.
Happy Friday everyone!! I am so ready for the long weekend...
Tonight we are going to my parents' for dinner for my dad's birthday.
Saturday and Sunday we're relaxing a bit, but hoping to get a bit of work done on the house too. I really want to finally finish painting the den, which has been going on months. The room has so much trim and doorways and built-in shelving that is taking forever.
And Monday/Tuesday (we're taking an extra day off!) we're going on a mini-getaway and staying in a hotel that has a indoor tropical pool inside a giant glass dome and I am so excited to just lay by the pool and read! Ahh...
That sounds amazing!
For me (besides wishing I was in a tropical glass dome)...
Tonight - rehearsal after work then a meeting with one of our youth group kids' parents (I don't know what it's about and I hate it when parents do that). When I get home, I'm cleaning for an hour then going to bed early... I've been really tired this week and that just sounds perfect.
Saturday - working at the dance studio and grocery shopping for sure. Depending on the weather, I may stay in the town I teach after I get off and sit in the coffee shop and read or do some beach walking. If there's too much rain, I'll just head straight home... there's one stretch of the drive that I don't like in the rain. DH is gone at high school camp all weekend so I may end up doing something with some girlfriends when I get home but making a fire and doing some reading sounds amazing right now.
Sunday - church, lunch with a friend, cleaning the house (it's BAD), and visiting fabric stores to get enough fabric for five girls in my show that need to have matching dresses (no one sews around here anymore so trying to find enough of the same fabric has proven to be quite a challenge... hopefully I don't end up having to go to San Francisco for it).
Monday - working on set design and assigning jobs to parent volunteers for my show and waiting for DH to get home! When he gets home, I'm pretty sure he'll want a long shower, a little cuddle time then sushi or Mexican food out. Yum!
MY BLOG!
I'm so bummed... I was having a great morning and then I just found out a friend of mine's boyfriend died yesterday. I don't know details yet but I know he suffered from depression etc but I don't know what happened and I'm just numb. I was waiting for them to get engaged, they have a house together, I've known her since 6th grade and recently did a photo shoot with her (she is a photographer). I just feel like I'm going to puke and I hate when my friends are in so much pain and there's nothing I can do to make it go away.
I can't imagine what she is going through right now.
Oh and weekend:
Tonight: Eating dinner with husband and relaxing
Saturday: Hair appointment, antique flea market shopping, and birthday dinner/celebration for jlk!
Sunday: Wedding consultation with the cutest couple. I want their wedding!
Have a great weekend ladies!
Oh, that is so terrible... death is so rough... I hate that it's a part of life.
MY BLOG!
SO sorry to hear about your friend. I can't imagine, either.
::hugs::
