in the market for an e-reader? refurb nooks

I bought a refurbished nook before x-mas for a really great deal.  Well, the deal is back and I thought I'd share since I know this was discussed the other day...

Barnes & Noble is selling refurb nooks on ebay - $119 for 3G+wifi or $99 for wifi.  I have the 3G and like it a lot - no problems, came in a nice box, not a scratch on it - perfect.

Now the only problem is that DH and I have a nook that we "share" so I kind of want another one (I don't like to share).

Re: in the market for an e-reader? refurb nooks

  • gah!  I was just looking at the ebay listing and realized that Barnes & Noble has 2 identical listings with 2 different prices - so I think I may have invented the part about the $119 listing being for the 3G, since that's not in the description.

FWIW I got my 3G nook for $99 from buy.com and the ebay listings for refurbs are somewhat frequent.  I love my nook :)

  • they're frequently on overstock too. :)
