they have an A rating on Angie's List. We've only had them clean ours and install a whole house humidifier but we've been happy. They were on time each time and even wear the little booties that cover their shoes so they don't track dirt in your house.

  • Ugh. We did this a few years back. Was not cheap. But both vendors we used were great - we went with Minnegasco for the furnace (my dad does work there, so we got a bit of a discount, but they did great work anyways), and I can't remember the asbestos company we used but I'll see if I can look it up. They were pretty reasonable from what I can remember.

I second this. We got a new furnace last fall thru them. They were so helpful, always on time and very clean. They also don't do a hard sell.

  • We just got a new furnace in November, went with S&R Appliance and were pleased with their service. Also always on time. Spent a lot of time answering all of our questions. Even threw in an old but working blower motor for the time being so we could wait a couple of weeks to have the new one installed vs. having to have them do it after hours as an emergency since our furnace wasn't working.

  • My husband works for Centerpoint Energy (previously Minnegasco) and his parents just had a new furnace put in last year and were very happy. He's been with the company for 14yrs. I would definitely check them out first and see if they have any special deals right now.
