Who has a three-day weekend? Anybody got anything exciting planned?
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

Re: Weekend plans?
Tea Time for Lulu
I do not have a 3 day weekend-I had originally taken Monday off, but I can't afford to take a vacation day since I was out sick 2 weeks ago and again this week. What I need is my damn health to get off vacation! My husband however has all next week off...I secretly hope it rains all week.
Since I had a pretty gnarly flu this weekend I might try to take it easy-Play Kinect at home and watch movies. I'd like to get most of the Best Picture nominees watched. I have 4 more and 3 are for rent. One is still in theaters.
Nothing too exciting this weekend.
Tomorrow, we are going to a planning meeting for our car club's national meet that will be held in the bay area in two years. We were hoping to get the Hudson out for the drive, but the weather is too sucky. We will probably try to see True Grit tomorrow night.
Sunday, I get to drink sugar water and have blood work done. Oh goody!
Monday, I am going to relax and maybe cook something that takes a while since I will be home all day.
That's cute...I like you, even if you think you're boring which I don't.
We are busy bees this weekend. We have to clean a bit around the house tonight. Tomorrow morning I'm meeting my brother for coffee, then getting a haircut. After that, DH and I need to go grocery shopping and start cooking - we have people coming over for dinner.
Sunday, we have a potluck to go to, I have a kid's birthday party to go to (for my best friend's niece), and we're hoping to visit our good friends who had a baby on Wednesday (if they decide they're up for visitors and want us over).
On Monday, I hope to get some stuff done around the house, do our taxes and just rest up.
