This got me thinking...

Re: s/o makeup
EVERYTHING! J/k....kinda
These are my current favs:
Lancome Virtuose Black Carat Mascara (this is a must. I have long eye lashed and when they touch my brow bone, all other mascaras rub and leave black marks on my brow)
Mary Kay eye primer
Sephora primer
Blinc brow mousse
Benefit Some Kind-a Gorgeous foundation faker
Benefit Bella Bamaba 3D brightening pink face powder
Burts Bees Tinted lip balm in Pink Blossom
AND I just started using Spehora's skin care line and I LOVE IT! My skin is picky and this is clearing it right up
I am also on the waiting list for Urban Decay Naked Pallette which I have heard awesome things about!
Medi-Morphosis Self-Adjusting Exfoliator by CosMedicine.
Missing our little turkey.

My #1 must have is Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder. It is amazing. Kind of like a foundation and powder all in one, and it reduces fine lines too.
Cover Girl tinted moisturizer w/ SPF 15 (a MUST for us pale folks)
Benefit "boi-ing" concealer in "01"
NARS blush in "Orgasm"
Revlon Satin eye shadow in "Nude Slip"
L'oreal "Beauty Tubes" mascara
Clinique "Chubby Stick" tinted lip balm in "Chunky Cherry"
ten-tenners' may siggy: me & mama on my wedding day
What's LittleMissNewlywed Cooking?
Best concealer ever! I love it!
While you are at it, make sure you get some of this. It gives you the glow of an orgasm! LOL!

I'm not really brand loyal, though I tend to buy a lot of Clinique (I like free makeup bags. Sue me).
My absolutely must have are good brushes. A good shadow brush is an absolute necessity (I hate the applicator tips) and I use Sephora brand for that.
A good moisturizer would also be on my must have list. I love Clinique's dramatically different Gel (I hate the lotion).
Since I am apparently without reading comprehension skills today, if you're interested in my answer to this question, here's the post:
