Major Baby Fever

I am having some MAJOR baby fever and I feel like everywhere I turn EVERYONE is having babies!! I know we are waiting (probably another 1.5 - 2 yrs) but sheesh- this is gotta subside!

Re: Major Baby Fever

  • Ha!  We're waiting at least another four months before starting to try.  The only thing getting me through the waiting period is we might take a trip to Jamaica in May.. so I want to be able to enjoy myself!
    Visit The Nest!
  • I understand. We have to wait a while longer for some health reasons. It is no fun to always be going to the doctors but NOT because I am pregnant. A constant reminder. But, we'll get there! I know it feels like you're the only one not having a baby, but really truly, you aren't! When that day finally comes we'll be on cloud 9 and not take it for granted, right?
  • I HEAR YOU.  Three days after the wedding, I was all BABYBABYBABY.  H wants to wait until at least this summer to start trying.  It always seems like a million years away, but we're really only four months away, and that's nothing.  But we're moving to a bigger apartment in April, and I know I'm going to constantly be thinking "that's going to be the baby's room!" when we do.

Hang in there!  We're in this all together.

  • Aww...I am going to have to live vicariously through everyone on this board. Cuz our plan is to wait not one, not two, but 4 years longer until we start trying. Don't get me wrong, I do want to wait that long (we're rather young and none of our friends have started), but at the same time, how can I not have baby fever (at least a little bit)?  Especially with hanging around these boards. ;)

  • Just to tide you over until you start TTC, just think how wonderful you feel right now and how great it is to be able to sip wine, enjoy sushi, have obnoxious amounts of deli meats, scrumptious amounts of caffeine, and can eat whenever you want.

You also don't quite yet have horrible pinched nerves, period pains/uterus stretching pains almost daily, migraines that incapacitate you, back pain to knock you off your feet, uncomfortable bloat that refuses to go down, acne flare ups, oh and not to mention this relentless nausea that lingers for hours, if not the entire day and carries on to the next.

Enjoy your peaceful night's sleep while you can and the comfort of sleeping however you like. Once you get that Big Fat Positive, you can look forward to all of the previously mentioned symptoms :) Hope that tides you over for a little while.
