I filled what is likely my last pack of bc for a very long time. 92 days worth, which is probably enough to get me up to my surgery. I seriously felt like I was going to vomit when I realized that.
The Canadian government has the best ads ever. (see siggy) If you google the slogan you can find a whole bunch more.
I have no idea why I am at work today, except for to ferry some papers into our overnight mail.
Stand up for something you believe in.

Re: FFFC
I'm afraid to complete the files on my desk because the less work I have, the less I'm able to fake I'm busy...
I had snickers and twix for lunch.
I also confess that on days like today, I miss SW2B and her silly little comments. Sometimes all it takes is a little dramatic entertainment to make a boring day fly by!

the only thing harder than knowing a pregnant woman will have her baby taken by social services is hearing her say "that's ok, you can have it, I don't want it anyway."
Makes me violent. Makes me forget everything clinical I know and resort to my instincts. But I know I'll lose me job if I say and/or do what I really want to.
The majority of our tax refund just went to paying off the mucho grande CC bill that I racked up over Christmas. I just didn't pay very good attention to what I was spending. I feel really bad about it.
im takin care of ya baby while yur paaahhhtyin ya azz ahhffff jahnelle!
This makes me stabby.
My boss had major back surgery and has been out of the office for the last 2 weeks, hence my recent activity here. Although it's been boring, it's been super relaxing. I hope she doesn't push herself too much & come back soon. It's nice and quiet here. The best part of it is she'll only be back for 2 mths anyway b/c she will be gone from June until Sept too. Can she just not come back at all and just pay me to be on the internet and Nest all day?
BAHAHAHA... I ? Janelles trashy mom.
I'm in the same boat. I got a little too excited about the baby and kind of went crazy on a few shopping trips with friends. Not huge amounts but things really add up. I told Jesse tonight and almost cried. I'm so disappointed in myself for being so careless. I feel awful.
I lurvers you a lot a lot!
Sorry, I was off having a life!
I completely agree.
My friend who works full time as a nanny, under the table, makes more than my husband and I combined BUT she gets free health insurance, etc because TECHNICALLY she doesn't make any money.
It's ridiculous. I can't wait to get out of school and hopefully, change some of our ridiculous laws and regs. :-(
I'm sorry. :-(
I've dealt with that before and I am sorry.
However, I take solace in the fact that if a parent is saying that, the baby has to be better off in the system rather than with a parent who actually goes around saying that.
I'm sorry you're dealing with that. :-(
wow, kind of weird to agree with you, but I do. I know that baby is better off in the system, he actually will probably be adopted by family (a distant family member who took custody of her first child 8 months ago). But still, hertbreaking to hear those kinds of words come out of a mother's mouth.
Yeah, I wish I could say the same, but you know, taking care of my daughter, trying to keep my job, and making sure we have enough money to pay our mortgage kinda puts a damper on that, but glad you answered my summons all the same! ;D

It is beyond heartbreaking, I couldn't agree more. :-(
I am happy to hear that there is at least some family member willing to step up. It's not often like that. :-( And, at least baby will be with a sibling.
Hopefully, this particular woman will start using birth control and not put you (not to mention everyone else) through this again.
In all seriousness, our many differences aside, if you ever need someone to talk about these things with, I am here.
Good luck and stay strong! :-)
