tomorrow, and I want to be dolled up...

I bought a purple dress at work to play off of the mardi gras theme, but I want to wear my boots... I got a chunky multi colored necklace to tie it all together. The stitching on the boots is purple, and I think I can pull it off... But I want the Knestie seal of approval. WDYT? The dress is one that you can tie about a billion different ways... I might try it different ways, but here's the gist...

I think it looks good together. I think that the color of the boots compliments the color of the dress nicely. I think it would look odd it they were too matchy-matchy. (I love the picture while standing on the chair look!)

Looks good, my only opinions are maybeit could use a wide belt at the waist or maybe wear the necklace lower. I feel like there is just something missing, those are my two suggestions.... is it cool there? maybe add a cropped/shorter length jacket??

Thank you, ladies! I knew I could count on you gals for reassurance. I had to do the stand on the chair look so you could see the boots.

don't mind the pile of laundry or unmade bed in the background... Haha!

I tied it a little differently so that there was more of a waist and I like it much better... It's been in the seventies here, but I'll probably take my denim jacket just in case. It's a cropped length, and I think it will work well.
