We need a bench or table at the foot of our new bed. Something to hold the comforter and something we can put baskets under to hold the laundry.

I feel really guilty but I bought a pair of boots and a new purse this morning. Apparently enough money spent to alarm my bank, which called me to verify I made those purchases and didn't have my card stolen... Oops.
Anyway, the boots are the ones I've been coveting for months now, and I finally got them thanks to an unexpected check we got recently:
And the purse was a steal during the Kate Spade online sale, and is totally justified (I tell myself) because I have had the same $20 Target purse, that's ugly, for the last three years. I've been looking for a classic black purse forever and love this one (I got it in black - can't find a decent non-Flash pic of it):
We just bought a new mattress & I love it. We have to make a large purchase of a new car for DH ASAP, which really sucks. His car is on its last legs and won't make it too much longer. We can't afford a car right now, so I have no idea what we are going to do.
Oh, I also just bought a dress for my parents anniversary party. It is black & sparkley, but I think I have to return it .
This weekend I think we're going to go to Ikea to pick up some Pax wardrobe pieces, so I can build out my craft room/closet. I'm really excited about getting that going. I've spent the last year fishing clothes and shoes out of boxes, and using a teeny tiny spare bedroom closet for a few pieces that will fit. I've forgotten what 75% of my clothes and shoes look like!
We have been working on our back room (which, up until a few weeks ago, had sat mostly empty and unpainted for a year). I'm super stoked about how it's all coming together. We purchased all of these things in just the last three weeks:

Well, I just bought a super cute shirt from the Gap that I totally don't need, but really wanted. And some lip stain/gloss from Sephora, also not needed but wanted. Probably shouldn't have bought either, since yesterday I picked up a pair of rainboots (definitely needed) and a bathing suit (also needed, but maybe not this soon!) from Target.

Omg, I LOVE this! I might need one for my dressing room/craft room when I finally unpack it (hey sounds like we're in the same boat).
I went on a shopping spree last weekend at my favorite consignment shop. For $60 I got:
The flattering green sweater I'm wearing right now.
A red cute blazer
Two black tops
Two pairs of black pants.
Oh, and I bought a pair of jeggings at Target. Ah, the retail therapy felt so good!
