Hey! Did I miss an announcement of any sort about you moving? When/Where/Why?!

 Oh and I also checked Anne of Green Gables out of the library today. I saw it and immediately thought of you! It will be a week or two before I can read it. I have a stack of books I have to read and return first.

    Haha, yeah I did announce it like 6 months ago maybe. We're moving to L.A. (somewhere in the vicinity where we find an accessible apt and a job for me). Basically I told DH that he needed to decide how far he wanted to take the stand up comedy. If it would just be a hobby we could stay in the Bay Area and he needed to find something to do during the day. If he wanted to pursue it as a career we both knew staying in the Bay Area wouldn't accomplish that. He has gone about as far as he can based here. He gets gigs but they aren't big enough to pay very often (and if they do it isn't much). So in order to have a chance at a career in it we would either need to move to L.A. or NYC. Since FIL is ill with cancer NYC was out of the question. It's too far away when FIL gets to the end. So even though he'd rather do his comedy there, at least for the next few years, we're going to L.A. He's been working on getting into shows down there. So I'll be looking into teaching jobs down there in a few of months. We hope we can find an apt that is available in July because that's when our lease is up here.

    Oh and have fun reading AoGG. I am finishing the last 2 novels of hers and then I have 2 more short story collections to go. Then I'll have read all her prose.

    6 months ago!? hahaha There's no way I would have found that post on my own. Glad I asked! That's an exciting step for his career. I hope you find a position down there and the move goes as smooth as possible. I'll have to do a better job of hanging around here so I see your updates.

    Yeah it was kind of ironic timing because we had just moved here (to SJ). But I felt like there was no point in waiting and living here for a few years only to uproot again. Once we move I'll probably just keep up with Nesties on FB because I'll be working again FT. I'll need to scale back my online time.
