Any big plans this weekend?
So, I'm sitting at home enjoying the start of my four day weekend, and find myself oddly bored. My dog is cuddling on my arm and making it fall asleep, which is super cute, but when he doesn't go to daycare he is soooooo clingy; I love him clingy, but he is no lap dog. I'm thinking of running out and meeting DH for lunch, since he is at work, and possibly getting a haircut and looking for some decorations for the house.
Anybody doing anything exciting this weekend? I don't know about the weather forecast by you, but in central IL, we've had BEAUTIFUL weather this week and I plan to spend some time outside enjoying it!

I watched some of the dog show this week-can't wait to get a dog to cuddle up with.
It is a beautiful day in NY! Sat outside for a bit already to get some sun on my face and it feels great.
I'll be taking a bilingual Spanish education exam tomorrow. Something I've put off for awhile! Thinking about getting a bilingual certification. I grabbed some books last night to practice verb conjugation-ugh! They always trip me up. I also found Spanish for Educators which should help with the writing portion.
Sunday-baby shower!
My weekend started early - I came home from work at noon yesterday and stayed home today. Sick. It's just a super bad cold, but it means I'm probably not going to do much this weekend. I have Monday off for President's Day, so hopefully I'll be better by the time I have to go back to work.
I cleaned a bit today and am hoping to take a quick jaunt out to Ikea tomorrow to get a portable island for the kitchen, and maybe some shelves for the living room. Part of our effort to make out apartment look more like a home and less like a glorified dorm room.
So, yeah. Not very exciting, but there it is.
Blog
We've spent today cleaning up the house and running errands. And went our to lunch. We just got home from taking the dog on a walk and. Now DH is prepping for his job interviews on Monday.
Tomorrow afternoon we leave for Portland. We're spending the night at DH folks house. His dad is OOT so we've going to take MIL for sushi (she's never tried it)
So no big plans, just trying to get our ducks in a row for a Monday.
