Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

another update on my dad
He is still in the hospital. He was in rehab for a brief period, but had to go back. He had his gall bladder removed, and has had a clot removed from his lower aorta, and a bunch of clots from one leg. The drs. are concerned that he may still be bleeding somewhere in his abdomen - they don't know if there is another leak or if it is from his being on blood thinners.
With all that has happened to him, I'm of the mindset that he is never going home. If he does recover from anything, I think he will need to be placed in a full time care facility. My mom may still think he can go through rehab and recover a lot of the motor skills he had, but I'm highly doubtful.
I'm going up on Monday to visit for a few hours. It is also my mother's birthday this weekend, so she'll be glad that I came up for that.

I'm sorry to hear that koko. That is so tough for everyone involved, I'm sure it's hard for your Mom to take all of this in. It will be really nice for them to have you there on Monday.
