Some idiot parent at the oldest kids school is in charge of setting up Picture day two times a year.

What moron thought that ST. PATRICK'S DAY would be a good day? How many parents are going to have to argue with their kids that they are NOT wearing some bright green Kiss Me, I'm Irish shirt? How many parents don't want their kid wearing a HUGE shamrock in a picture they keep on the mantel?

Not to mention, the entire school will be wearing green. They kid loves green but come on. They couldn't have done it the day before or after?

That's hilarious. Our class picture last year was scheduled on spirit day. Ya that turned out well. I'm not sure why the school didn't change it, but there were a lot of blue and yellow covered kids in that picture.

LOL! That must have looked interesting.

See, when we first started talking about St. Patrick's Day, the kid wanted to wear this new green shirt we got her. It's bright green with this HUGE purple flower on it. And for just St. Patrick's Day, that would be fine. Then we saw that pitcure day was that day and it didn't go well at first. She was bummed.

But D asked her, would you want someone staring at that HUGE purple flower or your face? She said face. And I promised to find something awesome for her to wear instead.

I showed her the new stuff tonight and she was THRILLED. Now, that other shirt is a memory. LOL.

All of those are so cute! I'm pretty sure I'm heading to ON today to get some stuff for the niece! She'll be so excited!
And I LOVE that green shirt with the flowers on it. I would even wear that.

This year's class picture was scheduled on a Jeans and Jersey day... sports themed. Our school is normally uniforms, so it was definitely not thought out. Our principal had a mini-fit at first but got over it. First school pic with kids in street clothes in years and years.

LOL! We have had to buy them more lately, way more than we buy for us. Little bit keeps GROWING. I swear, she is barely making jeans last 6 months. That kid is leg and torso.

I love the green shirts you bought; very tasteful and appropriate! I love the short sleeve green and stripped one the best- very cute

We had a picture day scheduled on spirit day before. You would think that the people who plan these would consider the date and events that may be going on!

My BFF's daughter grows like a weed!!!! She is 5'8 and a size 9 1/2 shoe!!! and she is only 12!!!!
