I'm usually pretty sure of my decorating choices, but in the rental house where I can't change the carpet or ugly glass block wall (not pictured) I'm a little flustered. I found this rug at Pier One today for $70. For the price I love it, but am

    well i like it a lot, but i have a VERY similar looking rug, which i bought at IKEA:

    image i it's fab if you have cats. i think it's a different material as yours (hard to tell in the picture) but mine is a sisal type material. my cats love to scratch and you'd never know it on my rug and i've had for probably 5 years. also cleans up really well since we have it under the dining room table.

     

    Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    MD - this one is sisal in the middle. It's like a really soft sisal though - maybe it's really processed or something. It's not hard like my other sisal rug.

    The more I leave it there the more I'm liking it. I think I'll probably keep it.

    I really like it w/ the chairs too!  The one tiny thing I'd think I'd like better is if the rug was just on a plain (non-carpeted floor). But I don't think that's a reason NOT to keep it, I just think I'd like it on tile/wood/etc better, but it certainly looks fine on a neutral too.
