Just saw the pictures you posted of Macy on Facebook, and they're gorgeous! Your daughter is beautiful, and you should AW those photos here. :-)

Re: MrsJason
Aw, thanks! You are too nice
I have just started getting back into photography lately. I took a few month break and totally forgot everything I learned
So I am having to relearn everything again. I think I might start back up Macy's old blog, even if I only post pics.
Oh and I lost the link to your blog. Would you mid reposting it? I always loved to see your pics and you are such a witty writer!

Ahh, now you're too nice. I have yours linked, and I hope you do pick it back up.
Here's my blog.
I know there's a million and one photog blogs out there, but this one is worth checking out. She is a regular poster on the photog board on the Bump and her posts are always really helpful, as is her blog.

I will bookmark both
Thanks!
I tell you, photography is so overwhelming! I like making breakthroughs, but man, I feel like I will never know everything there is to know.
And sometimes I kind of fantasize what it would be like to shoot a wedding (not that that is anything I would really want to do) and that just seems like a scary thought. Ha. Like, 1 out of 99 pictures I take turns out ok, so I think the bride and the groom would be rightfully upset if I handed them a wedding cd with a total of 50 pictures on it! I really have respect for wedding photographers, or any professional photographer for that matter!

I know, I feel the same way. It's got its ups and downs, for sure. Just when I think I'm starting to make real progress, bam, I feel lost again. Like this weekend, I took a shitton of pictures at my SIL's, and then we were all down at the beach. I was trying to take some family pics for them because they don't have many. Yeah, FAIL. Most of them were out of focus, and the few that weren't were just not good. I got a few that were really cute of them all together on the beach, but oh, there's a big stupid purple sand pail in the way. I'm just staring at these pictures wondering how in the world I didn't have the sense to see and move that freaking pail. GAH.
And the last wedding I went to, I swear I watched the photographer more than the bride. That is one.tough.job. Fun, in a lot of ways, I'm sure, but the pressure to get it right the first time would definitely be too much for me. At least with my SIL, we can try any given Saturday. Not so much with a wedding.
