1. No traffic. With leaving at 7:30, stopping to get a small coffee, I was still at work and at my desk by 7:55. Normally if I stopped to get coffee, I'd be here 10-15 minutes later.
2. Should be a relatively quiet day. On my floor, there are no more than 10 people expected. Upstairs in QA, all are expected, but I don't see it being too bad as far as my busy-ness is concerned.
3. My boss said since I volunteered to work today, I not only get one day to take off in the future, but he'll give me another. Which is pretty sweet since H and I want to go away for a long weekend sometime in April/May up in NH/ME/VT.
4. I have an u/s tomorrow, and will be "WFH" when I'm done...therefore it really wasn't a big deal for me to come in today, since tomorrow will be an easy-ish day.
So who else is working?

J is off today- he has to put boxes in the attic, run the dishwasher, wash our rug in the foyer (ish ) area, install a new smoke detector...and then he's brewing a new beer and making dinner later. How much do you think he'll actually get done?

I'm working. My office is closed, but I had two practices that wanted to speak with me.
No big deal, Greg had to work too.
I also have some website reviews to do for an event on Thursday. I really have been procrastinating this for a while now, but it needs to get done. It'll only take me a few hours. I'm just an unmotivated bum.

I'm working... It's not a holiday in BC. What's the holiday? In Alberta and a couple other provinces it's Family Day so it's a day off there.
President's Day...so no, it wouldn't extend to you guys!! LOL!!!
This. Although it's like a 1/2 day because I have to go into the office to meet with my boss. I won't be getting much done. We did have a guy come give us an estimate for new windows. Upstairs alone will be about $4K, one room (2 windows) would be $1150. Time for DH to figure out window installation!

kids have class so the college is open. 3 of the 5 people in the office are out though and it's been realllllly quiet, which is nice.
