  DH and I had a nice trip out to RI this weekend, and adopting our new pup. Busy weekend, but well worth it.

  Chavis had a rare Saturday where he had to work, but on the plus side I went and met him for lunch.  Great food, great conversation, great date!

  Sunday, we had a surprise birthday celebration for a woman at our church who turns 87 today.  The joy in her face was priceless!

  we had my parents over yesterday for my Dad's birthday.  I made one of my favorite meals (before you flame me it is also my Dad's fave) and his favorite desert (cheesecake) it was the first time I'd made either and my mom told me "you done good kiddo" and DH said it tasted like his mom's it was high praise from both ;-)  and well I don't like to brag about my own cooking, but it rocked!

  I got to spend time with one of my best friends yesterday whom I have not seen since the wedding so that was a lot of fun )

  Babysitting the kids I used to nanny for in college.  They were in our wedding and we hadn't seen them for about 2 months.

  When I was putting them to bed Saturday night, M, the 5 yr old boy turns to me and says "Hannah, I wish you were in our family to I could see you all the time. I miss you". Aw!! Seriously, they are too cute!

  I did a trash the dress session.  It was fun to get in my dress again, although it's definitely not the most comfortable garment I own.  The photographer was one of my friends from college and she set up what I think will be some good shots.  It was a good time!
