another one bites the dust
Another weekend is over...
And another work week started.
It was a nice weekend...mexican and ice cream on Friday; laundry, cleaning, started spring cleaning of my clothes, watched some shows on hulu, and played a pc game on Saturday; since I busted butt on Sat I did absolutely NOTHING on Sunday and it was magnificant! All I did was watch tv shows and played my pc game (sims 3).
For the first time in a while I feel refreshed...I so didn't want to ruin it by coming into work today while 90% of everyone else has the day off.

Hello hello from gray PA.I am beyond jacked off that I have to work today and it seems like most of the world has off. Hate.
My weekend was ok. It went too fast as usual. I didn't feel well most of the time. I had stomach issues Friday, then massive sinus issues Saturday and Sunday. By yesterday I was beat and laid on the couch all day. My BFF brought me Brothers Pizza which made me happy but did not fully take my mind off of the snarkiness I felt at having to work today.
I did make a nice dinner last night and cleared out a good bit of the DVR.
MFD played at a bar Saturday night, and a lot of people from high school came out. Some people I haven't seen in 10 years or more. It was a really fun night.
I'm already wishing the week away. I want to send February packing.

It's supposed to be int he mid 70s here again today...I want to be outside!!!
I'm so jealous. I woke up to 4" of snow. I mean, I like snow and all, but it was mostly melted and I'm just itching for spring. Ugh.

This weekend flew by way too fast. We're expecting snow tonight, which is absolutely lame considering Friday was like 65 degrees.
J & I went to bed at like 10 last night and it was glorious.
Thursday I'm supposed to try my hand at skiing since snowboarding was unsuccessful. I am just looking forward to a day off!

Well, my weekend plans took a turn for the worst Friday afternoon when Jeremy got home. We had to cancel our weekend plans of seeing my BFF and trip to FL since he was coughing and running a fever. Then I was lucky enough to catch it. No fever but I can't quit coughing. I basically laid around all weekend. I have today and tomorrow off. I'm going to talk Jeremy into a walk (which won't take much at all) around the neighborhood or maybe downtown by the river.
I really need to do some work from home but really don't want to since I won't get paid for it. We shall see.
It's also supposed to be in the 70s here all week too. I just hope the pollen doesn't come early lol
The temp is supposed to drop to low 40s tomorrow and then slowly get warmer through the week peaking around the 60s. I hope I don't get sick w/ this yo-yo weather we're having!
Side note - the job that I turned down 2 weeks ago, they called me this morning wanting to know if I'd changed my mind. They even emailed me a job listing for Don too. They totally want me there! We're still considering making the move, but we've gotta have some type of job security for Don lined up first. My predictions were right though, they want me badly and they're willing to wait for me! They have a temp currently and she sucks so they won't hire her. Considering how fed up I am w/ who I work w/ currently I'm really ready to transfer locations and take this other job within the company...if it were just me in the equation I would have already. We'll see what happens!!! Oh, and also if we do make the move we'll get to live in my Mom's townhouse for what we pay now which is a steal since she and her FI are buying a that they close on next month. Mega score for us...which is why we're really trying to figure out a way to make this move!

I have today off! We had a nice weekend spent a lot of time together. Which was nice since we haven't had time to really spend together.
Friday went for some drinks. Saturday we both worked during the day and for dinner went to TGI Friday's since I had a buy on get one
Sunday we had a lazy day together and today we are just hanging around in till H has to go to work tonight. We need to go do laundry at some point today
Well it's a holiday and totally lamesauce that I'm working. I would have liked to work from home but since my boss took a vacation day today, I have to come in. I know the general sales manager would have closed the office but there are safety auditors in this week and out of all days, we have to be in. My stupid company doesn't even have this day as a holiday. I think I'm going to sneak out after lunch.
And WW wise, I didn't exercise at all last week and gained some lbs (I had slightly salty dinner last night so that could have affected by WI too); back at running.
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.

UGGHH I'm at work too. I am leaving around lunch though because me and H have to go get tires on my tahoe. I am going to hate to fork over this money.
This weekend was so busy, I was out of the house on saturday and sunday by 9am and didn't get home until 1am on saturday night (we were at a friends house) and then 9pm last night (didn't go to sleep untill 2am). My closet has clothes all over the floor and H laundry baskets are overflowing in his closet.
I think I am taking tomorrow of since I couldn't have today off. I am going to get eyelash extensions put on tomorrow at 1. I haven't had them since the honeymoon and I am getting sick of putting on mascara!!

JenO - that's great news! I hope it works out for you. It make such a huge difference to me in terms of quality of life when I feel like I'm appreciated at work.

So I called in sick today so I could go to my interview. That wasn't the sole reason, Richard had the day off and I wanted to spend time with him too. Well, the interview was going well. The manager looked at the bottom of my resume and said "oh, you have a bachelors?" I said yes. She then said that the position was entry level and that I'm over qualified for the position. If I wanted the job I would need to take a $4 per hour pay cut, plus a half hour commute to and from. I told her that I didn't think I could take a cut, and thanked her for her time. I just have to keep looking and something will turn up.

a $4 pay cut, damn! that sucks. im sorry it's not going to work out for you. something will happen, quickly i hope.
I've heard of not getting a job because you're over-qualified, but I've never heard of having to take a pay cut. That's sort of backwards IMO - if you hadn't listed the degree, you might be getting paid more? Weird.
My weekend was really good, I actually got to spend a lot of time with Jeff and I also got a new cardigan on sale and Jeff bought me a pair of shoes I'd been coveting (and thought were no longer for sale) as an early birthday present, so that was a nice surprise.
Tbears - Sorry to hear about your step dad.
JenO - Glad to hear they still want you! Hopefully the job for Don works out too - getting a new/affordable place in the deal is just icing on the cake!

I was so excited to have today off - expected to get lots of stuff checked off my to-do list. Then SIL called last night and asked me to watch my nephew. He's a great kid, but he's only 4 - so can't really leave him to his own devices while I continue to be productive. So, today kind of went down the hopper. K and I started painting the nursery on Sunday but ran out of paint. But, we also got a game plan together for the rest of the room. Hopefully Lowe's won't cost us too much tonight...
