Celebrity Sightings? (pip)
My old rm from college is in NYC visiting a friday and saw Lady Gaga out this morning.
Here's her pic:

So....have you ever seen or met anyone "famous"?
Re: Celebrity Sightings? (pip)
Mah younger sissy and I met Paramore over the summer
)
I went to high school with Lady Gaga and Nicky Hilton and saw them all the time, so they're NBD to me. I used to run into Dan Ackroyd in our foyer all the time too, since his daughters also went to the school.
Living in NYC, I've spotted a lot of celebrities, but I try not to gawk and give them some space and privacy.

I went to HS w/Katie Holmes, but she was not a celeb then.
When I was in figure skating I met several Olympic medalists, see Scott Hamilton and Paul Wylie below. I also used to practice w/the current national champion Alissa Czisny when she still skated in BG.
Me & my skating BFF Melissa w/Paul Wylie. This time excuse the makeup, we had just skated in a show!
In HS I also met Austin Peck (he was on Days of Our Lives then, which I loved). Even though he's not exactly A-list this was my favorite celebrity meeting.
I thought there was one of us who had! I didn't realize that Nikki went to school in NY. I would have assumed CA, but if I remember correctly, you grew up in NY?

I went to college with Mara Wilson
and Haley Joel Osment (whose locker was literally right outside the girls restroom):
Ohhh, and James Franco enrolled in the Grad program at my school my senior year. He was pretty yummy, though he grew a huge beard that year.
And my favorite celebs:
I interned with Henson in NY for 7 months and I loved working with all the Sesame Street puppets.
I've been asked to dinner by Ben Stein (the economist/Ferris Bueller's day Off/Win Ben Stein's Money tv show)...
Allie! That'd be an awesome internship!
At the 1/2 marathon in August, I saw Guiliana Rancic (she ran too! and I beat her...and Kelly Beminson (sp) from RH NYC. I always thought she was such an "athletic" and I kicked her booty in the 1/2).
Although I don't necess. support, I met Chelsea Clinton on campus in college when she was promoting her mom's presidential campaign.
Otherwise, the only other interaction I've had with a celeb is Al Gore. I was in grade school and my friend's dad worked for a union and we were asked to be on a float for July 4th parade. Al Gore was there, and told me I was a good dancer. I was on CNN for a brief second b/c of it.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermI "got" to shake hands with Barry Switzer once. Does that count? lol
He used to own a fried chicken place here in OKC (well, actually it might have been in Norman, where Univ of Okla is) and we ate there once and he was there shaking hands. I was about 16 at the time and not impressed. lol
Missing our little turkey.

Yeah he is great and was so super nice. We were in the front row of a small improv place, so he interacted with us a lot, then at the end gave me a big hug and posed for pictures.
Umm, I kind of want to hear details about this lol
My brother-in-law is a professional drummer with a national band so I have met quite a few musicians. Sheryl Crow was my favorite. She's so down to earth. I also met Harry Connick Jr. OMG, I wish he would've left his wife for me (sarcasm)! I was on a flight with Jon Voigt. He was really nice too. I have yet to have a negative celebrity interaction. Guess I've been lucky.
My celebrity meetings are so random..
Kenny Rogers, Engelbert Humperdink, Lawrence Taylor, and Randall Cunnigham.
My uncle was and now my brother is a pro golfer at a prestigious country club so when these guys came up to golf they would let me come down to meet them. I've met Kenny and Englebert several times and gone to their shows, backstage, etc. If I was 70 years old I would probably appreciate it much more than I do. As far as LT and Randall, love. This was back in like 1990 when they were hot sh!t and I was just a little girl so these big men were badass to me! lol
When the movie "The Coast Guard" came out, they had the movie premiere down the street from my apartment so a friend and I stood on the corner and watched the celebs arrive. The only one that was nice enough to wave to and greet his fans was Kevin Costner. He was totally awesome and was literally within 3 feet of me and asked how I was doing. I was so star struck I could only say "hi" repeatedly and keep taking pictures of him. I totally should have said "we share the same birthday" which is what I wanted to say! I've also seen Hulk Hogan and Nick Hogan before. And about a month ago, my hubby met John C. Reilly at the airport when I was on the phone with him. I told him to tell him I liked him in "Chicago" and he did and I heard John C. Reilly say "tell her I said thanks" in the background.
Totally forgot about this. Last year I met Ryan Howard in Cali.. The chick in the back right was his boo of the evening I guess. She's rocking his actual jersey, jeans and no shoes. Classy.
I'm so glad you resurrected this thread! Seeing Em's siggy pic reminded me the other day: my grandfather once met Carmen Miranda. I wish I had pictures, but back then, they didn't really take cameras out and about with them. For those of you who don't know who she is, you might recognize her picture better than her name:
I never had much idea why she was such a big deal, but he used to love to tell stories about how beautiful she was. Every time I see her picture now, I think of my grandpa...I wonder if they're eating bananas together in Heaven.
