Are we planning on a Nestiepalooza this year?

I missed last year's, but is anyone interested in possibly doing a Nestiepalooza (big Nestie GTG) again this year?

If so, do you have any ideas of a place (park, beach, etc.) that it can be held at? What time of year would be most convenient for you? Any other ideas?

Yes, I think this is right. Last one I went to I was still PG (and Char brought me some of that Hobee's coffee cake, mmmmmmmm!). I don't remember hearing about or going to anything last summer.

I was totally about to say, "you sillies, that WAS last year. Lunabeam was pregnant and adorable, and Kyva was..." and then it dawned on me that lunabeam's little guy is freaking ONE and Kyva was like 4 months old! And I don't even remember the last time I saw Dianne 'round these parts. I'm selfishly glad there wasn't one this summer though because I would have had to miss it.

Yeah, I still don't know what exactly I'll be doing while C is deployed, but I'm sure spending some time back home will be part of it. Yay, indeed (which hopefully means I can either see you with your cutie bump or meet your little one, and that thought makes me very excited)!

I will do my best to make it, especially if it isn't too far away. I can think of lots of East Bay places that would be great and possibly central for Sacramento, South Bay, and North Bay peeps.

I would be willing to help plan it, but I cannot guarantee when our daughter is going to make her presence. If she takes after me, she'll be notably early, if she takes after Brian -- totally late. If she is a good blend, right on time ;-)

Yeah I can help plan, too but once we get to June I will be very busy looking for apts and jobs. I agree the best area would be E. Bay. If anyone has suggestions for places and times we could start a poll.

I would love to come. We'll be out in May for a wedding in Sebastopol and may be out once more later in the summer for a baby shower. Keep me posted on the timeframe you guys are thinking of and I'll see if I can coordinate a trip!

That would be so cool. My life won't be complete until I meet Andrea someday! I probably won't make it out until the second half of the summer though, so I have a feeling I'm going to miss Nestiepalooza if it happens. The stars will align someday though, I'm sure!

LOL at Pattypalooza. It has a ring to it! Well, it will all depend on when ppl want to do it.
