Need creative ideas

I got DH Netflix for his birthday, which is Wednesday.  I'm going to try and get a DVD here by then, so that I can wrap that up as the gift, but if I can't, does anyone have any ideas of what I can do for something to wrap up?  I've set it up to run through our Wii, and if I knew how to run the internet to the Wii, I would just set it up myself.  But, DH is the techie, and I don't know how he has things set up.

Ideas?

Re: Need creative ideas

  • Can you create like a "movie basket" like you might see at a silent auction, with popcorn & movie candy...even better if you could find a popcorn bowl to put it in (like red and white striped with "popcorn" written on it). You could put a certificate or piece of paper in there that says "Netflix" on it, or if you find a mailer or magazine coupon for Netflix...I swear those are everywhere!

  • I'd make a "One year of Netflix" certificate, print it and wrap it, lol.

  • You can always find a netflix logo and like Melissa said, make a basket of goodies with popcorn.
  • I totally like Melissa's idea. That's super cute. :)

  • I think Melissa's idea is the winner!  With a combo of other ideas....if the DVD from Netflix comes in time, I will put that in the basket, with a note about giving him one year of Netflix (I'm envisioning stick figures and smiley faces).  If it doesn't come, I'll make a certificate.
  • I like Melissa's idea! They mail so fast though, I'm thinking you'll have it in time. But it might actually get there on Wednesday.
  • FYI - if you have a dollar tree near you, they have big and little popcorn bucket/basket things.  I bought them to use in my classroom this year :)

I want to say I saw some at Target too once but I may be making that up.  I looked so many places for them....
