Apartment suggestions, ladies?
Sorry to keep posting about our housing issues ladies, it's my main stressor right now.
So given that I'm going beyond frustration into outright pissy-ness toward our realtor (the former coworker of DH's), I'm starting to look into some local apartment complexes in the Southside/Kernan/Hodges/Beaches area - basically anything within a 20 minute or less drive to Mayport.
I've checked out North Beach, which is amazing, but the lowest they can go right now is $1199 for a 3BR, and while we can do that, it's still higher than we want. Our housing allowance was lowered for 2011 (don't get me started) to $1380, and we want that to cover rent, utilities, and cable/internet.
Anyone have any suggestions for complexes that are newer and reasonable?

I have no idea how much these run for a 3 bdrm...can't find it on the site at the moment. However, when DH and I were looking at bigger apts before we decided to buy, we thought these were nice. They're right at Hodges & JTB,

My brother lived there after college (2003-ish) & really liked them.
I lived here IN college. You would not have wanted me and my girlfriends as neighbors. lol
I don't know if it's gotten less college-y since 2004-05.
