My Grandpa is Adorable
He came to check out the house yesterday and give his "I'm a contractor"
approval. He was so happy and thought we picked a great house. And then
he started offering me furniture! He told my FSIL that I can have my
Mom's old rocker that is at his house, I'm so excited I get to rock my
future babies in that chair and a cute little table that I love. Also he
has his mother's old floor lamp he wants me to have along with a chair
that has been in storage for years but that I have loved since I was a
little girl. He really made my day with giving me the rocker!

Yay! Congrats on the Grandpa approval. I'm glad he likes your new house. And it's so cute that he wants to give you special family furniture. I am very sentimental like that, and love the idea of having stuff that my family has a connection to. I'm sure it will help make your new house into your home.

That's awesome. So you guys own it already? That seemed like it went quick. Congrats.
Funny how approval from parents and grandparents and such matters, doesn't it? Both of our sets of parents were impressed with our new house and we were so proud!
We don't own it yet. We close in about 4 weeks. Our Realtor is awesome and took us over with my grandpa Sunday so he could look around. My Dad was able to go on the day of our inspection.
