help, bored?

What do you do on a winter day with a 7 month pregnant lady and a 15 month old? MH is bored, we are sick of being in the house, but we are failing to find something to do.

TIA.

  • Bundle up and go for a walk?  It seems pretty nice outside.

  • Children's Museum?  Luke would still be free at the Portland one, not sure about the one in Dover... Gymboree? I know there is one in Portsmouth, not sure if you can do drop in though?  Or I think Sarah said Eli loved the Bounce House place in Newington over by Eastern Mountain Sports... not sure how old he was when she took him, but I know our Rec staff had a good time so you and Luke could hang out and YH could play in the bouncers lol.

  • We all went outside the other day and had a snowball "fight."  I made snowballs and Helen would take turns throwing them at me or DH. It was pretty funny - Helen walks right up to within 6 inches of us before throwing the snowballs and laughs hysterically all the way!

  • just thought of another...go swimming.  york microtel, spinnaker in portsmouth or the dover pool all have drop in rates.  swimming felt so good when i was pregnant...i swam right up to the day before he was born.

  • I hope you found something to do!  If I were down in Kittery I would have roped everyone to go shopping :-)

  • Thanks ladies. Our original idea was to go swimming. DH's gym has a pool, and family swim time, but wouldn't it figure the pool is closed for repairs this week :(

We grabbed the family and went for a walk on the beach. It was FREEZING but really great. Thanks for the suggestions!! Luckily, my Dad and brother are building a house at the beach and we ran into them so Luke got to see all the hammers banging, uh oh.. ;)

My DH has just been BORED. Now I look around the house and see 1000000000000000000000000 projects that need to be done. Ah, oh well.
