Baby Shower Recipe?

I am looking for punch ideas or non-alcoholic drink recipes for a baby shower. I once had one with sherbet and 7-Up. Any ideas? TIA!

Re: Baby Shower Recipe?

  • I remember as a kid for my birthdays my mom would make a punch with rainbow sherbet, 7UP and the Hi-C called "Ecto Cooler" (from the Ghostbusters) Now I think it's called "Screamin Green Tangerine" But it was always awesome! Another yummy one I served on NYE for non-drinkers was gingerale and lemonade with strawberries. I found some jarred strawberries in syrup, and just put that in.. and it was really good. Also tastes great with rum or vodka if anyone wanted to spike it.
  • I just use one thing of rainbow sherbet and one thing of 7-up. Let the sherbet sit out for about 30 minutes before pouring the 7-up over it. I went to a party on Sunday where they did ginger ale and some type of green/lime ice cream, that was really good too.

This is usually what I do - it's so yummie!

  • One I did for both of my showers that was alcoholic but you can omit the Blackberry Brandy was

    8 C Hot Boiling Water

    2 C Sugar

    Dissolve

    One Can of Frozen Lemonade

One Can of Frozen Grape Juice

Then normally you'd put 2 C Blackberry Brandy but you could just really do like a Blackberry juice (if they had a frozen one that would work) or real blackberries.

You freeze it and then serve it in the cups with 7Up over it...it's like a slush and everyone raved over it.  Granted I don't know how it tasted but many folks asked for the recipe haha
