Email Scamming

I've gotten a lot of email scams sent to my regular email address that I've had since high school.  Is there somewhere that I should be reporting these or should I just be hitting the spam button?

Ugh, I really dont want to change my email address.  Would you?

Re: Email Scamming

  • I don't know of any place you would report them unless it's a phishing attempt posing as a real company. If that is the case, you can report it to the real company and some have a phishing email you can forward the scam email to. Otherwise, I would just keep hitting spam. That's why I started using Gmail a few years ago, I was getting way too much crap in my yahoo inbox.

  • My email in high school was gowolves16@aol.com, so yeah I'd probably go ahead and change it personally.  :)

Ditto Jodi on gmail though if you do decide to change.  It seriously rocks.  All spam automatically goes to my spam folder and I just empty it every few days/weeks.  NBD.

  • Tritto on the Gmail. Love it.
